    1993-2005

    Founded as the venture capital arm of IDG; entered the Chinese market in the same year, becoming one of the first institutions to conduct private equity investing in the country

    IDG Capital became an independently operated fund

    2006-2009

    Established multiple venture capital and private equity funds with Accel Partners

    Expanded investment scope across stages

  • Deepening roots & Becoming Global

    2010-2015

    Launched the first RMB-denominated fund to better support domestic innovation

    Made our first European investment

    Expanded into M&A and achieved full independence from IDG
